Wicht ist ein musikalisches Kollektiv aus der Psychedelic Rock Band "Wight" und der Experimental Jazz Band "nic demasow". Wicht ist zu 100% improvisierte Musik von 6 Personen, die auf einer gemeinsamen Welle harmonieren und so eine einzigartige, dynamische und dramatische Klanglandschaft erzeugen. File under Krautrock meets Fusion Jazz meets Psychedelic Improvisation!

Seit Montag, den 3.11 gibt es das Live Album "Live at Psychedelic Network Festival 2012" nun auf CD zu erwerben. Doch dabei soll es nicht bleiben. Mit einer Crowdfunding Kampagne soll das Budget für eine Doppel LP aufgetrieben werden, mit Specials wie Siebdruck Cover und einer speziellen Crowdfunding Version in eigener Farbe etc.

Les Lekin's debut album "All Black Rainbow Moon"

Vor der Tour mit Wight habe ich das Debüt Album von Les Lekin gemastert. Das Psychedelic Space Rock Trio aus Salzburg hat in ihrem eigenen Proberaum produziert. Die Aufnahme ist Live eingespielt und kommt ohne Overdubs aus. Mag man kaum meinen, weil der Klang richtig fett geworden ist!

Robotnik Recording

This September started with a nice recording session with ROBOTNIK.
Best to describe their music as 80s Hardcore Punk with nerdy Metal attitudes. Somehow far away from Metal but very fast and intense... you will hear something soon.
We recorded live in the Tresor Studio in Darmstadt. Check it out!

We recorded 11 songs in 2 days, that seems really a lot but most of the songs just hit the 2:00min. Like most of the time, if bands are good prepared, they need maximum 4-5 takes to have it on tape.
Next steps are vocals and some overdubs.

Festival Season is over!

First to say: I had a great time!
...but it was killing too! I am really tired after so many weekends with less sleep, long distaces by car, plane and train. I'd like to say thanks to the local crews, no matter if some of them were not that professional, you were all friendly and motivated.
Thanks also to Unleash The Sky and My Sleeping Karma for having me with them and sharing all the pain and joy ;-)
