Vita

• I started as a singer at 14 and guitarist at 16. In that time I also started writing my first songs and producing them with several bands.


• Since 2008 I am the frontman of the powerful Rock trio "Wight", where I started producing, recording and mixing the albums with several, professional sound engineers.

• 2009 I founded "Fat&Holy Records", an indiependent label for local and outstanding underground music


• Working as a technician in 603qm club (R.I.P.) in Darmstadt from 2008-2012


• Graduation as Bachelor of Arts Digital Media Sound at Hochschule Darmstadt in 2012


• Started as Front Of House engineer for "My Sleeping Karma" in May 2012


• Moving to "Wasted Life" Studio in Darmstadt in September 2012


• Started as Front Of House engineer for "Unleash The Sky" in October 2012


• Front Of House engineer for "Monster Magnet" in August 2013

• Working as sound technician at Schlachthof Wiesbaden since April 2014

• Working as sound technician at Centralstation Darmstadt since November 2014

As an engineer for live concerts I was on tour for so many times already and I know all desks, dynamics, effects and other hardware, no matter if it's digital or analog. I also adapt unknown equipment very fast.
That keeps my mind free to create a transparent, organic sound with the equipment, operating as a full member of the band on stage.

Producing a record means to me, creating a reflection of the authentic sound of the band. There is no right or wrong in a way of producing a record, as long as the production fits to the music and the artists behind it. In my aesthetics of sound and the reproduction of a performance, I prefer recording live. No matter if you want it analog or digital, the sound quality is not only what counts in the end. It is the performance.
